You can verify the security of your connection by observing the address bar in your browser window. When accessing a server protected by SSL, the first characters of the address will change from “http” to “https,” and depending on your preferred browser, you should be able to see a “padlock” icon.

5.3 Please help us with your cooperation. To help protect your DSE account information, please keep your password secure. Your password will be stored in our system in an encrypted form because DSE knows that your privacy is very important. DSE will generate a link to create your new password if you forget it and will send it to your email. This will not affect your profile in any way. We suggest that you choose a non-obvious password that contains at least ten (10) characters, which may be numbers and letters. Additionally, we recommend that you do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for keeping your password and DSE account information secret.

5.4 Remember to log out or close your session (sign out, log out) from your course and close your browser each time you finish using your computer. Eventually, Academic Advisors may employ moderation techniques during the live session and/or warn users about the use of inappropriate words in their communication style. We call attention to and recommend that adults and children under their supervision, when using the interactive features of our websites and applications on our platforms, never provide personal information about themselves, either through themselves or third parties. Definitely, never provide information to attempt to circumvent the moderation filters or restrictions we may have on our websites and platforms. When we need your consent for these purposes, we will not send you promotional information unless you have authorized us to do so, or you have participated in an independent activity that allows us to send you promotional information to your email.
8.4 We recognize the privacy interests of children and encourage parents, guardians, legal representatives, and tutors to play an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. At any time, parents can revoke the consent that allows us to collect more personal information from their children in connection with a user account or particular services managed by the Company. Likewise, they can request that we delete from our records the personal information we have collected in relation to the account associated with the Course.
